The Wisconsin Energy Foundation matches active and retired* employee gifts to any U.S. elementary, secondary and post-secondary educational institution that is accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. It also matches gifts to non-profit local arts and cultural organizations in Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula, provided they are recognized by the IRS as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. The foundation matches personal contributions of at least $25, up to a maximum of $20,000 per calendar year per employee. A completed form is required for the matching gift.
